Meet The Doctor
Dr. Memon is a board certified endocrinologist. She has been a Delaware resident since 2019 and lives in Middletown with her family.
After completing high school in Orange County California she moved to Pakistan to live with her dad who was then the dean of a dental school and founding dean of two other dental colleges in Pakistan. She attended medical school at Isra University, Pakistan and graduated top of her class in medical school with gold medals in Medicine & Allied Medical Sciences, General Surgery and Ophthalmology. Upon returning to the US, she pursued clinical rotations in Baltimore, MD where she worked closely with patients suffering from diabetic neuropathy. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s University Hospital, PA where she also served as a chief resident in her third year of residency. She subsequently completed her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at University of Maryland Medical Center Baltimore, MD where she was awarded the fellow teacher of the award both years and the “Best Endocrine Scholar” award.
She worked at Christiana Care for almost 5 years until July 2024 and was named in Delaware Top Doctors in 2020 and 2022. During her time at Christiana Care she served on the Ambulatory Patient Safety and Bone Health Committees. She finds teaching medical students and residents extremely rewarding and was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at PCOM and Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Memon volunteers as a clinical reviewer for medical journals and has won several awards for clinical research.
